Major Defect Report, Portesham Nr Weymouth

April 2017 – Wessex Surveyors were asked to survey and report back on a two storey house in the village of Portesham near Weymouth.

A Major Defects Report examines issues that materially affect saleability and value of a property and is quite specific in it’s scope.  It can be useful for purchasers who are intending to renovate a house, or buy one already part-renovated, and are not as concerned with the cosmetic and utilities/services elements of a report.

The proposed purchase in this instance comprised a property part way through a refurbishment project and we were able to offer considerable advice on how to proceed and the main issues needing to be addressed, which our client found extremely useful.
