ISVA HomeSurvey, Bovington, Dorset

April 2016 – Wessex Surveyors were asked to carry out a Level 2 ISVA HomeSurvey on an ex-MOD married quarters house originally built in the 1950’s.

The end-terrace, two storey three bedroom property is of traditional construction and has been recently extended and altered. In addition to a number of shortcomings and defects considered typical for a property of this age and style, Wessex Surveyors advised investigation into a localised damp stain and possible plumbing leak apparent at the property. Apart from this area, the damp meter readings for much of the interior of the main buiding found it free of significant dampness. As part of the report service the surveyor advised additional notes for controlling condensation in the future.
