Weymouth is a busy seaside town situated at the heart of the beautiful Jurassic Coast. It has attracted visitors to its sandy beaches and safe waters since the 1780s, when George III visited the town for his health. His visits are commemorated by a colourful statue on the seafront and a white horse and rider cut into the chalk at Osmington.
